Establishment:
AČRA M.K. – the Association of Czech Advertising Agencies and Marketing Communication was established in the spring 1992.

Mission:
The mission of the Association activity is to increase professional standard of the Czech advertising and other activities within the marketing communication. The activity of the Association is focused on the coordination and representation of joint interests of its members, its representation towards respective professional unions and state authorities, providing professional information, consultative services and acting to enforce the positive image of advertising.

Legal form:
AČRA M.K. is established on a basis of the registration with the Ministry of Interior as a voluntary non-political association of natural persons and legal entities and it acts as a legal entity.

Membership in other organizations:
AČRA M.K. is a member of Czech Advertising Standards Council and Czech Republic Chamber of Commerce.

Number of members:
AČRA M.K. currently associates 51 members.

Market position:
The total turnover of the AČRA M.K. members is 1,5 billion CZK.

Conditions of membership:
The member of the association can be natural person or legal entity with minimal annual turnover of 6 million CZK, working mostly in the „full service“ system, which is not directly or indirectly controlled by medias and which has paid the membership fee and contribution to the promotion of the association.

One year long waiting period is also one of the condition of the membership in the association. The awaiting membership arises from the day of written declaration to accede to the memorandum of the association, from an approval of an application for a membership by the board of directors of and General Meeting of the Association

The bodies of the association are general meeting, board of directors and auditor.

Membership fees:
The annual membership fee currently represents 35.000,- CZK.
